MAIN CHARACTERS:

SYNOPSIS: In the shadowed edge of a forest, where secrets whisper through the trees, two teenage girls, Esther and Ruth, meet in the gaping maw of an open barn. Ruth, resolute and burdened by a past she refuses to endure, prepares to flee, her resolve as unyielding as the bag slung over her shoulder. Esther, younger and torn, pleads with her friend to stay, her voice trembling with fear of betrayal and loss. As Ruth unveils her determination to escape a painful home, their fleeting embrace carries the weight of a promise and a farewell, leaving a lingering question of what lies beyond the barn’s threshold for both girls.
